Polarized

Light usually comes directly comes from the sun, but may also reflect from the road, water, snow, mirrors and other various sources which create strains to the human eye. With polarized lenses, it greatly reduces the amount of light or glare that comes into your eyes when viewing. Polarized lenses contains a special optic filter film which blocks and absorbs light coming from various directions thus greatly reducing stress to your eyes. Polarized sunglasses are great for activities such as driving, water sports, skiing, cycling, jogging, hiking and outdoor sporting activities. However, polarized lens does not work well indoors or with computer monitors, cell phones or navigational devices as it blocks out glare created by the electronic device. We offer two thickness of polarized lenses in our collection. 0.74mm and 1.1mm. Both lens offer the same function visually. The 1.1mm is a thicker lenses which offer mores impact resistance while the 0.74mm offers less impact resistance. It is advised that polarized lenses cannot be used as alternates in environments where safety glasses is advised.
